Maintenance and Inspections
lBefore using the instrument, make sure that there is no dam-age to
the instrument, no damage or wire-breakage in the power cord and
the instrument operates correctly and safely.
(For the method of checking operation of the instrument, refer to “In-
specting” on page 15.)
Cleaning
lDampen a soft cloth with neutral detergent or water, wipe the instru-
ment with it, then wipe off carefully with a dry cloth. In this way, make
sure the instrument is cleaned and never use solvent.
When cleaning, take care not to touch the connector terminals.
Touching them may break terminal pins, resulting in breakdown or
damage.
lWhen cleaning the measuring probe, wipe it with a cloth dampened
with disinfectant alcohol.
